Google Sites
I created a Google Site for the students in my physical education classes. Setting it up was very quick and easy. I can see it being a very useful tool for me to gather student information and feedback as well as to test students knowledge on particular units we are covering. I also can post important documents, dates, videos, etc. to the site that I wish to share with students. And how great is it that the Google Sites application is accessible from any internet connected computer. Below is a video that I watched to help me get started.
Google Forms
Google forms is awesome!
For my project I created a survey that will allow my students to enter their cross-country results as well as give me some feedback related to the unit. I plan on sharing a link with them that will take them to my Google site. On the front page they will see the survey and enter their times and distance for that PE class. The data is then sent automatically to a spreadsheet that will allow me to get an overall picture of their individual performance and chart progress. Below you can click the link and see my SATEC PE site with the survey.

Blogger and the blogger app is a very easy, user friendly tool that I will be able to use from my classroom, the gymnasium. As a physical education teacher I am very appreciative to have the ability to post immediately to my blog from my phone or itouch. Posting pictures and curriculum updates is a great way to keep parents informed on current events and happenings in my physical education class.
